Sixth Devlog
Sprint 1 has been concluded!
Butter beast
The Model and colors for the Butter Beast is finally complete and the Cell Shader has been assigned to him.
Parallax Background
We finished painting the parallax background and some cloud to scatter in the background to add some dynamic elements to the game .
Post Processing and Lighting
We worked on the lighting and post processing and made two post process volumes that blend into each other as the player increases in height as shown below . The Volume is bright and saturated and high exposure. The second Volume is darker and less exposed. The second Volume also introduces film grain and a vignette to add to the eerie feel.
We also made a Glitching effect to later implement into the game during *secret* .....
We also worked a bit on the lighting as shown below.
Programming
There is now a background and some moving clouds.
The bombs now spawn from a certain height, and not immediately when you spawn
we changed the fishing rod to a bubble that both players can spawn. when the other player is in it, it will push that player upwards.
We made it so that the player fades in and out when they die, so it is clearer when you can choose to respawn or not.
